
Since EA has started the Xbox Games Pass - EA Play partnership for PC with Xbox most users that I've spoken to thought that (just like any Xbox game on PC) when you start it up you have all your progress you gained on Xbox, but this is very unfortunately not the case at all.

Just got off the phone with Xbox support because I thought something was wrong with my account. Even the Xbox reps I've spoken to say it's extremely unfortunate for them.ĮA needs to fix this as there are a large number of frustrated player, especially with this recent release for games pass on PC. I do not want to start all over again just because I'm playing on PC now, and Xbox unfortunately also looks bad being attached to this because of EA's choice not to implement a solution for cross-saves into it's account/games system, and these games are advertised under the Xbox app and as a specialty item with games pass. In modern times and especially with this partnership you would think EA would have come up with a solution to this when many other games and companies have cross-play and cross-save solutions.
